Synopsis

Accessing Your NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall Using the WebUI

Problem

Solution

To access your NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall using the WebUI, perform the following steps:

Step one: Connect your Firewall device to an Ethernet port on a workstation or network hub/switch. For more information on connecting your Firewall device, go to Connecting Your NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall to a Network.

Step two: In the browser Address box, enter the Manage IP address for your Firewall device. For information on how to configure a Manage IP address, go to Configuring a Manage IP Address on Juniper NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall.

Note: For this example, we have entered the default Manage IP address for the Trust interface, 192.168.1.1.

Step three: From the Enter Network Password dialog box, enter your Admin Name and Password.

Note: The default User Name and Password is netscreen.

Step four: Click Login.

Note: The configuration screen will open.
