Accessing Your NetScreen-25/50 Using the WebUI

This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.

To access your NetScreen-25/50 using the WebUI, perform the following steps:

Connect your NetScreen-25/50 to an Ethernet port on a workstation or network hub/switch.  For more information on connecting your NetScreen-25/50, go to Connecting Your NetScreen-25/50 to a Network.

If this is the first time you are using the WebUI, in the browser Address box, enter the default manage IP address: 192.168.1.1.

If you have previously configured a Manage IP for the device, enter that IP address.

From the Enter Network Password dialog box, enter your User Name and Password.

The default user name and password is netscreen.

Click OK.
