Synopsis

Configuring an Address Book Entry for the Internal Network

Problem

Solution

To configure an address book entry for the internal network, perform the following steps:

Step one: Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, consult: KB4060 - Accessing Your NetScreen, SSG, or ISG Firewall Using the WebUI

Step two: From the Juniper Firewall menu, click Objects, select Addresses, and then click List.

Step three: From the List page, click New.

Step four: In the Address Name text box, enter an address name.

Note: For this example, we entered an Address Name of Internal Net.

Step five: In the IP/Netmask text box, enter the IP and Netmask that the VPN user will access.

Note: For this example, we entered an IP/Netmask of 192.168.1.0/24.

Step six: In the Zone drop-down menu, click to choose the zone that the IP subnet resides in, and then click OK.

Note: In this example, we selected Trust.
