Configuring an Interface for SNMP Management
Problem:
This article applies to ScreenOS 4.0 and higher.
To configure an interface for SNMP management, perform the following steps:
Before configuring an interface for SNMP management, you need to set up SNMP management on your NetScreen. For more information on setting up SNMP management, go to Setting Up SNMP Management.
Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, select your product from the list below:
From the NetScreen options menu, click Network, and then click Interfaces.
From the interface list, click to choose the interface you wish to modify, and click Edit. For this example, we chose to edit the Trust interface.
From the Management Services list, click to select SNMP.
Click OK.
