Configuring Your NetScreen as a DHCP Client

This article applies to ScreenOS 5.0.

To configure your NetScreen as a DHCP client, perform the following steps:

Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, select your product from the list below:

• NetScreen-5XP
• NetScreen-5XT
• NetScreen-25/50
• NetScreen-204/208

From the NetScreen options menu, click Network, and then click DHCP.

From Configure, click Edit.

From the DHCP list, click to select DHCP Client.

To forward TCP/IP settings from the DHCP Client module to the DHCP Server module, click to select Update DHCP Server.

Click OK.
