Note: This article applies to ScreenOS 5.0.

To configure your NetScreen as a DHCP client, perform the following steps:

Step oneOpen the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, select your product from the list below:
Step twoFrom the NetScreen options menu, click Network, and then click DHCP.

Step threeFrom Configure, click Edit.

Step fourFrom the DHCP list, click to select DHCP Client.

Note: To forward TCP/IP settings from the DHCP Client module to the DHCP Server module, click to select Update DHCP Server.
