How to set Auto Negotiation on Interface Duplex on NS5XP

Interface set to 10 ' mbs full duplex Interface set to half duplex Need to revert the interface duplex back to Auto Negotitation Performance issue while using Full duplex Packets dropped through and to NetScreen

This solution applies to ScreenOS 2.0.0 and higher:

By default, the NetScreen interfaces are set to auto negotiation for speed and duplex. It is highly recommended to keep the NetScreen interfaces at the default.

To revert the NS5XP interfaces from Half or Full duplex to auto negotiation, please use the following command:

Unset interface phy
Save

Example:To set the trust interface from full to auto negotiate:

unset interface trust phy full
save

Here is the problem or goal:

• Need to revert the interface duplex back to Auto Negotiation
• Performance issue while using Full duplex
• Packets dropped through and to NetScreen

Problem Environment:

• Interface set to 10  mbs full duplex
• Interface set to half duplex
