Subscription services, such as Antivirus (AV), Deep Inspection (DI), Web Filtering, and Anti-Spam, need to be activated in the Juniper Subscription system before the service will start. Subscription keys are tied to the entitlement server and are retrieved from the server by the device.
- Where do I go to activate the subscription?
- What information will be required?
- How do I update my anti-spam?
- How do I update my anti-virus?
- How do I update my deep-inspection?
Once a Subscription License has been purchased and the order has been fulfilled by Juniper Networks, an email containing a PDF with the authorization code is sent to the email address provided on the Purchase Order to Juniper. The authorization code is a 16 character code, see sample certificate below.
Sample Authorization Code Certificate
- Device Serial Number, not the RTU number
- Authorization Code
- Customer Support Center (CSC) login (for login help, Login Assistance)
- Recommended: Device registration
To activate your subscription service:
- Log into the Juniper Networks Subscription System at Subscriptions
- Select Subscription Registration Tool
- Enter the device Serial Number and the Authorization Code
- The Authorization codes are case sensitive
- The tool allows multiple Authorization codes for a single serial number and accumulates 12 months for each code entered. Maximum allowed accumulation is 2 years
- Click Register Product
- Once activated you will see a confirmation page - registered successfully
