HTTPS (SSL) management is enabled at the interface level. HTTPS login to the Firewall device worked correctly when using ScreenOS 5.4.0r2 and earlier.
Problem:
After upgrading to ScreenOS 5.4.0r3, an HTTPS connection to the firewall device is not authenticated. The firewall does not respond to the login credential information.
Solution:
This is a known issue that only affects ScreenOS 5.4.0r3.0. To resolve the issue, upgrade to ScreenOS 5.4.0r3a.0 or later ... or ... utilize the workaround listed below.
Workaround:
- Log in via HTTP
- Log out of the HTTP session
- Using the same Login credentials, log in via HTTPS. After proper authentication, you will be logged into the WebUI via HTTPS.
