DX3250 may stop SSL processing under load

Problem:
Certain DX 3250 platforms may stop processing SSL traffic under load. This could happen within minutes or hours after the box starts processing SSL traffic. This problem is caused by a certain version of Tyan motherboard (5150) that is used by the DX-3250 and causes the SSL processing to stop under heavy load.
Solution:
To correct this problem, the DX 3250 has been reworked with a SuperMicro P4SCE motherboard that doesn?t impact SSL processing on the box. If you have a DX 3250 product that has the SKU numbers listed above and has a 16 digit number serial number, as shown below. Please contact Juniper Networks customer care group , 1-888-314-JTAC (1-888-314-5822). Some of the units will be reworked and added back to our logistics pool. If you receive a unit that matches one of the serial numbers it will be good working unit.
