[EOL/EOE] How to enable NSM automatic purging and archiving of device logs?

It is possible to configure NSM to automatically archive and purge device logs in order to manage the free disk space.
Device Server out of disk space due to device log files.
NSM version 2007.1r3 or newer is required for automatic archive and purging of logs.   To configure, use the following steps:
  1. Under Server Manager > Device Server.  Locate the "Disk and Log management" tab.

  2. Enable the option "Enable online retention policy" and select the number of days to retain logs.

  3. For "Action on logs" select either "Purge" or "Purge and Archive" as the action to perform.

  4. Enter the path for "Archive location" where the logs will be archived to after being purged.

  5. Click "Ok" to save and apply the new settings.
