[ScreenOS] Are SNMP counters for multilink interfaces supported on ScreenOS?

Article ID: KB11281 KB Last Updated: 02 Apr 2019Version: 4.0

This article confirms whether SNMP counters for multilink interfaces are supported or not on ScreenOS firewalls.

SNMP counters are not being updated for multilink interfaces.

Sample Output

IF-MIB::ifIndex.14 = INTEGER: 14
IF-MIB::ifDescr.14 = STRING: ml1
IF-MIB::ifInOctets.14 = Counter32: 0
IF-MIB::ifInUcastPkts.14 = Counter32: 0
IF-MIB::ifOutOctets.14 = Counter32: 0
IF-MIB::ifOutUcastPkts.14 = Counter32: 0

SNMP interface counters (ifInOctets, ifOutOctets, ifInUcastPkts, ifOutUcastPkts, ifInNUcastPkts, ifOutNUcastPkts, ifHCInOctets,  ifHCOutOctets, ifHCInUcastPkts, and ifHCOutUcastPkts) are not supported on multilink interfaces. Polling for these SNMP OIDs will always return a "0" value.

Add OIDs of serial interfaces on the monitoring tool.
