This article is for those curious about which version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
Different versions of NSM use different versions of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
To see which version of JRE is used on your version of NSM, start the NSM Client and Choose Help > About Juniper Networks - NSM


The following window displays:


Choose the "System Info" tab to display the version.  The JRE version is listed on the JDK Version line (JDK = Java Development Kit).


NOTE: NSM Client uses its own JRE installation embedded. Other JRE installed on the OS are NOT used.
