How to enable PPTP traffic to exit via the Juniper firewall by using ScreenOS 6.1 or later
Cause:

Solution:
ScreenOS 6.1 or later no longer requires the use of the Fixed Port DIP, as required with ScreenOS versions 6.0.0 or earlier, but it can still be used. For more information, refer to KB4481 - [ScreenOS] How Do I Enable PPTP Traffic to Exit Through the Juniper firewall using ScreenOS 6.0 and lower?

To allow PTPP pass through traffic by using ScreenOS 6.1 or later, perform the following procedure to enable the use of the PPTP ALG:

CLI
:
set alg pptp enable
save

WebUI:

Go to Security > ALG and select the PPTP checkbox.

Note: By default, the PPTP ALG is disabled. Use the 'get alg' command to check if an ALG is enabled or disabled. When creating an inbound or outbound policy to permit only PPTP traffic, make sure that the PPTP ALG is enabled (above) and specify the PPTP service (dest port 1723).
