How to see which logs have packet captures from the log viewer.  A step by step guide of how to view the logs with packet captures.

If a logged attack has a packet capture associated with it, it is flagged as such on the log viewer screen.  I don't see any type of "flag" on the log viewer screen in NSM when looking at logged objects.  Is there any easy, quick way to see that a logged object has a packet capture associated with it?

Go to the log viewer in the NSM Gui client, you can do one of two things:

Option A:
  1. On the top left there is a button for Filter  filter icon  (gray line with two green arrows). Click it.

  3. Scroll down and check 'has packet data';  then, on the right had side select the 'has packet data' bullet.  This should filter and display the logs that have captured packets.

Option B:
  1. Next to the filter button there is a columns button   Column icon,  click it.

  3. Scroll down and check 'has packet data'.  This will add an additional column on the log view to show if it has packet data.
