[ScreenOS] SNMPwalk queries of 64-bit counters on the firewall are not returning any values

Article ID: KB12545 KB Last Updated: 17 Jun 2010Version: 2.0
Summary:
Why, when running an SNMP walk, do I not see the 64-bit counters from the firewall?
Symptoms:
If you attempt to perform an SNMP walk and you find that you can’t see the 64-bit counters, you’re most likely using SNMP v1 (version 1), or possibly an unsupported version of SNMP (like version 3, which is unsupported). The only two supported versions of SNMP are v1 and v2c.
Solution:
You have to use SNMP v2c in order to get the 64-bit counters to report properly. They will not work using v1.

Also, make sure the ScreenOS version is 5.3.0 or greater.
