How to restart all JSA (formerly STRM) processes /services gracefully
Juniper Secure Analytics (JSA) has several UNIX daemons that can be manually restarted, preferably in an orderly manner. 

Note: Customers should not be restarting processes for no errors. Troubleshoot the situation first to determine if a restart is required.
If a restart is required, enter the JSA Linux shell as root and execute the following commands in the following order:

For JSA release 2014.8 or below

            # service tomcat stop
            # service hostcontext stop
            # service imq stop

            #service postgresql restart

            # service imq start
            # service tomcat start
            # service hostcontext start

For JSA release 7.3.0 or above

            # systemctl stop tomcat
            # systemctl stop hostcontext
            # systemctl stop hostservices

            # systemctl start hostservices
            # systemctl start tomcat
            # systemctl start hostcontext

Please note, imq and postgresql are the components of the hostservices process, so restart of hostservices would also restart the sub-processes.
