Steel-Belted RADIUS replica server fails to register with primary; received an "Invalid Clock Synchronization" error.

Summary:
When attempting to establish a replication between a primary and a replica server, if the replica server does not show up under the replication tab on the primary server's administration utility it could be due to a synchronization issue.
Symptoms:
After reviewing the logs on the replica server, the following log messages are noted:

01/28/2009 20:09:45 Starting DCF system
01/28/2009 20:09:45 Configuration checksum: 97 24 DA 78
01/28/2009 20:09:48 CRadManagedServerUpdate::ProcessPackage CCM error: Invalid Clock Synchronization '1233191388'


Solution:
This error is indicating that the clocks on both servers are not within 10 minutes of each other.  This is required for replication to work successfully.  To resolve the issue, ensure both server clocks are synchronized, preferably via an NTP server. 

Consult your operating system documentation for instructions on configuring NTP services.

Once the clocks have been synchronized, restart the Steel-Belted RADIUS services on both the primary and replica servers.  The replica server should now appear in the radius administrator utility on the primary server.
