Summary:
How many redundant interfaces can I create on a firewall?
Symptoms:
When trying to create a redundant interface, the following error is reported:
SSG550_C2-09_51.71-> set int red5 zone trust
exceed max red interface number 4
Interface red5 init failed.

Solution:
The device limit is being reached when the error message "exceed max red interface number" is shown. The following table is a matrix of the redundant interfaces supported from ScreenOS 5.4 to 6.2 for the various platforms.
