Configuring Admin Access Schedules

Summary:
Where and how can you configure administrator access schedules?
Symptoms:
Trying to restrict the access of administrators based on time. 
Solution:
ScreenOS 6.2.0 now allows you to tie access schedules to administrator accounts.  This ability now gives you control to restrict the times in which you allow the administrator(s) access to the firewall.  The following steps outline the procedures needed to configure this in the WebUI:
  1. Create the access schedule first by selecting Policy > Policy Elements > Schedules
  2. Specify the time that you want to grant access.  You have the option to set the time into two different periods if needed (e.g.  from 8:00 a.m. to noon, and then 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).  You can also specify whether this is a recurring schedule (every week) or just a one-time access permission.
  3. After the schedule has been created and named, you then edit the existing administrator (or create a new administrator).  You can view the admins by clicking Configuration > Admin > Administrators.
  4. One of the options you'll see while editing the admin is "Schedule".  Here you enter the name of the schedule you've just created.  Afterwards, click "OK" to save.
  5. Lastly, ensure that the firewall has the correct date and time on it.
Administrators who are assigned access schedules will now be restricted to access between the times specified in their schedule.  Also, the same schedule can be used for multiple administrators.
