Platforms Supported

Dynamic IPSec VPN is supported on the following devices (by default, a two user evaluation license is provided free of cost and it does not expire. If more than two users need to connect concurrently, a license is required.
For license ordering information, refer to the following datasheet: http://www.juniper.net/us/en/local/pdf/datasheets/1000281-en.pdf.
For more information on license usage, refer to KB17292 - Check license usage & install license):

  • SRX100, SRX110, SRX210, SRX220, SRX240 and SRX650.
  • SRX550 (Junos 12.1 and later)

To information about the minimum Dynamic VPN requirements for the client and SRX device refer to KB17436 [Dynamic VPN] Minimum requirements for client and SRX device.
For J-Series devices, use NetScreen-Remote to configure a Remote Access IP/Sec VPN. For more information, refer to KB10128 - How to configure IPSec VPN on a J Series or SRX Series device.

Configuration

For step-by-step configuration instructions, refer to the TN7 - Configuring Dynamic VPN application note. 

The Junos Pulse client is automatically downloaded in Junos. However, if you need to manually install the Junos Pulse client, refer to KB17641 - Using Junos Pulse to connect Dynamic VPN client to SRX.
