How to enable SFTP on an IDP

Secure FTP (SFTP) sometimes needs to be enabled when there are issues transferring files to the IDP, such as trying to use WinSCP and the transfer rate is stuck at 0%

To enable SFTP:
  • vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config
  • Uncomment Subsystem as displayed below:
    #Subsystem sftp /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server
  • Run “service sshd restart
