Article ID: KB15855 KB Last Updated: 18 Oct 2020Version: 2.0
Summary:
Note: A product listed in this article has either reached hardware End of Life (EOL) OR software End of Engineering (EOE).  Refer to End of Life Products & Milestones for the EOL, EOE, and End of Support (EOS) dates.
Sometimes an attack cannot be found in the list of Signatures in the IDP Predefined Attacks list in NSM unless you can see it's short name.

Symptoms:
I can't find an attack I'm looking for. How can I change the IDP Predefined attack list from long names to short names?
Solution:
In the NSM GUI client, go to Configure > Object Manager > Attack Objects > IDP Objects > Predefined Attacks

Below is what the list of Predefined attacks will look like with the Long Names.

To see the list of attacks as Short Names, click on View and then Show Attacks Short Names.

Now the attack database will look like this.
