0

Article ID: KB16149 KB Last Updated: 23 Jun 2010Version: 2.0
Summary:
Instructions on how to check service activation engine (SAE) license expiration time using SNMP MIB.
Symptoms:
Sometimes the SNMP MIB value for the license expiration time may be incorrect or you may just want to verify the value.
Solution:
You will need a SNMP MIB browser and the SRC MIB files.  The MIB files can be downloaded from the Juniper support website.  Once you have imported the MIB files and pointed the browser to your SRC system, query the following OID:
juniSdxSaeMib.juniSdxMgmtInterface.juniSdxSaeTable.juniSdxSaeEntry.juniSdxSaeLicenseExpiryTime
.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.6.1.3.1.1.1.34

This is a table, so you must add the table entry number to find the actual value:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.6.1.3.1.1.1.34.0

IMPORTANT:
  • Make sure that the SNMP agent is enabled on the SRC system: enable component agent
  • Also add the client address of your machine to the SRC system:
    src> edit
    src# set snmp address x.x.x.x
