[JSA] Unable to change the STRM admin password

Unable to change the STRM admin password.
  • Admin password fields are grayed out.
  • Remote authentication is being utilized.
You cannot change the STRM Admin password while the authentication module is active.  To change the STRM admin password, temporarily disable the third-party authentication module, reset the password, and then reconfigure the third-party authentication module.
  1. Login to the console
  2. Click the Admin tab.
  3. Under System Configuration > User Management, and then click the Authentication icon.
  4. From the Authentication Module drop-down list box, select System Authentication.
  5. Save and Deploy 
  6. Under System Configuration > User Management, then click the Users icon. 
  7. Change the admin password
  8. Save and Deploy 
  9. Reconfigure the remote authentication module.
