Summary:

Why is there no RADIUS accounting message from the firewall when the user is logged in as admin?

Symptoms:

Firewall is configured to authenticate user with RADIUS server. RADIUS accounting is configured properly. However, when the firewall admin logged in, there is no RADIUS accounting message sent to the server.

Solution:

By design, RADIUS accounting is not supported for authentication of the firewall admin. RADIUS accounting is only supported for XAUTH or L2TP user types only.
