STRM - Event viewer is not showing any new logs

Summary:
Not seeing any new logs in Event Viewer list in STRM GUI
Symptoms:

STRM was showing logs coming into Event Viewer but now they are no longer coming in.

Solution:
Check the free disk space on the STRM box via cli with the command:

df -k

If the response from the system is that the disk usage for the /store partition is equal to 95%, the event processing system will shut down on STRM. This is to prevent data corruption.

To restore log visibility in the STRM Event Viewer -
  • Free up some disk space and reduce the number of logs being sent to STRM.  (Refer to KB15029 for how to free-up disk space when HDD is full.)
  • Remove old logs and or other files to reduce disk usage below 90%.
  • Consider reducing the number of events being sent to STRM by any one system.
