Starting an IDP Appliance in Safe Mode


To start the IDP appliance in safe mode, you must connect via serial console.

To start an IDP appliance in safe mode, perform the following steps:
  1. Start the IDP appliance.
  2. From the Welcome screen, press the I key repeatedly until the following information displays:

                           Welcome to OneSecure IDP
             Press 'I' to enter interactive startup.ocksize

  1. Depending on the reason for starting in safe mode, select the applicable services.  The command prompt displays.
