[ScreenOS] Redundant interface does not fail back after primary interface becomes active again

Article ID: KB19474 KB Last Updated: 03 May 2011Version: 1.0
Redundant interface does not fail back after primary interface becomes active again.
After configuring primary and secondary interface in a redundant interface, the primary interface becomes inactive which results in a failover to the secondary interface. When the primary interface becomes active again, the redundant interface does not fail back.
Before adding the primary interface to the redundant interface, configure holddown on the physical interface so the failback will function properly.  (See Related Links for the command syntax in the technical documentation.)
