[Junos] Meaning of the Starting child '/sbin/ifinfo' and Cleanup child '/sbin/ifinfo'

Summary:
This article provides information about the meaning of the Starting child '/sbin/ifinfo' and Cleanup child '/sbin/ifinfo' messages.
Symptoms:
Often, customers are able to view the following messages, when they are operating the router:
mgd[19228]: %INTERACT-6-UI_CHILD_START: Starting child '/sbin/ifinfo'
mgd[19228]: %INTERACT-6-UI_CHILD_STATUS: Cleanup child '/sbin/ifinfo', PID 19236, status 0
Cause:

Solution:
These message are noticed in the output of the show interfaces command, when syslog is configured to include the interactive-commands facility and the info severity:

ifinfo is a short-live process that is created, when the show interfaces command is issued via the Junos CLI. Some of the Junos CLI commands are associated with the shell command and in this case, the ifinfo command is executed. If you type the ifinfo command in the shell mode, the output will be in the XML format:
