[WLM] How do I import network plans into the RM-200

Article ID: KB20357 KB Last Updated: 05 Mar 2017Version: 2.0
How do I import network plans into the RM-200?

The RM-200 has restricted root access, therefore the config-db is no longer directly accessible. The typical procedure of copying the merge-source plan to config-db and then running the Import features does not work. The current procedure is as follows:
  1. Create a backup of the merge-source plan on the hosting computer.

  2. Transfer or upload this backup file to the RM-200. Transfer works when both RM servers are up.

  3. Restore the merge-source plan on the RM200. This makes the backup contents active and overwrites the empty plan stub that's created during the transfer/upload process.

  4. Return to the original merge-destination plan.

  5. Now visit the import plan page and proceed as usual.
