This article describes how to change the default time-out value of the ARP entries on the SRX device.
 
Symptoms:
We need to change the default time-out value of the ARP entries on the SRX device.
Solution:
The default ARP timeout value can be changed on SRX device per unit:
 #set system arp interfaces ge-0/0/0.0 aging-timer <value in minutes 1-240 > 

To set the value on a global level, use the following:
 #set system arp aging-timer <value in minutes 1-240 >
