Article ID: KB21677 KB Last Updated: 22 Aug 2011Version: 1.0
Summary:
This article provides information on how to configure an additional STRM cluster interface to receive Syslog data.
Symptoms:
How to configure an additional STRM cluster interface to receive Syslog data.
Solution:
The STRM cluster can receive ip data (Syslog, NetFlow, SSH, HTTPS) on any addressed interface. However, HA management will only manage/enable/disable the management interface being used; it does not take care of additional interfaces configured for data (event/syslog) collection during a failover. That is, you will have to bring up the additional interface on your own, in the event of an HA failover.
