Summary:
Per-unit scheduler for CoS is not supported without VLAN tagging on SRX high-end firewall

Symptoms:

The following error is reported when performing a commit:

[edit] root# commit
[edit interfaces]
'ge-0/0/3' dcd_config_read_interfaces_interface: per-unit/shared scheduler/hierarchical scheduler require vlan tagging or demux error: configuration check-out failed
 Per-unit/shared/hierarchical scheduler for CoS requires VLAN tagging on SRX high-end device.

Cause:
 
Solution:
To fix the issue, configure the following:
[edit interfaces ge-0/0/3]
root# show
per-unit-scheduler;
vlan-tagging;
unit 10 {
    vlan-id 10;
    family inet {
        address 78.111.162.26/30;
    }
}
Note:Thevdevice that is connected to this interface does recognize this VLAN tagging.
