[EOL/EOE] [NSM] How to enable or disable audit Log and audit log details?

Summary:

This article provides information on how to enable or disable the audit log and audit log details.
Symptoms:
Audit logs occupy large disk space, especially the audit log details. You can turn off the store audit logs or audit log details and turn them on again, if required.

 
Solution:
In /var/netscreen/GuiSvr/guiSvr.cfg change the following:

Enabling:
guiSvrManager.auditlog_flag 0
guiSvrManager.auditlog_detail_flag 0

to
guiSvrManager.auditlog_flag 1
guiSvrManager.auditlog_detail_flag 1
Disabling:
guiSvrManager.auditlog_flag 1
guiSvrManager.auditlog_detail_flag 1

to
guiSvrManager.auditlog_flag 0
guiSvrManager.auditlog_detail_flag 0

Note: 0 means Disable and 1 means Enable .

TO restart NSM services:
/etc/init.d/guiSvr restart

In case of High Availablity (HA):

Stop the secondary
/etc/init.d/haSvr stop

Restart the primary:
/etc/init.d/haSvr restart

When the primary is started , Start the services on the secondary:
/etc/init.d/haSvr start
