[EOL/EOE] How to change the NSM GUI time out value

Summary:

This article provides information on how to change the NSM GUI timeout value.
Symptoms:
By default, NSM GUI times out every 45 minutes, if there is no user activity on it. This timeout setting can be changed.
Solution:
  1. Logon to the NSM GUI.

  2. On the menu bar, go to Tools > Preferences > System properties > Performance options > User inactivity timeout.

  3. Change the value as required.

Note: Once the value is altered, the client needs to be restarted for the changes to take effect.
