Article ID: KB23035 KB Last Updated: 18 Oct 2020Version: 2.0
Summary:
Note: A product listed in this article has either reached hardware End of Life (EOL) OR software End of Engineering (EOE).  Refer to End of Life Products & Milestones for the EOL, EOE, and End of Support (EOS) dates.
This article describes the issue of the guiDaemon and deviceDaemon files displaying the following error messages:
[Error] [73737136-nsGuidNspServer.c:284] sendMessageClient No domain id from this device 0079062011000056
[Error] [61096880-nsGuidNspServer.c:284] sendMessageClient No domain id from this device 0079062011000056
Symptoms:
In the /var/netscreen/GuiSvr/errorLog/guiDaemon.0 file, the following following error messages are repeatedly found:
[Error] [73737136-nsGuidNspServer.c:284] sendMessageClient No domain id from this device 0079062011000056
[Error] [61096880-nsGuidNspServer.c:284] sendMessageClient No domain id from this device 0079062011000056

Similar messages also appear in the /var/netscreen/DevSvr/errorLog/deviceDaemon.0 log file:

[Warning] [1123680-nthConnPlug.c:366] NTHCONN: SSP device 172.27.201.191 denied connection due to unknown unique device ID.
[Warning] [1119936-nsCryptoMTMPlugDb.c:345] No record found in database for this incoming connection

Cause:
  • The error messages occur due to one or more devices, which were added on NSM, being deleted; but the device still tries to communicate to NSM, as it has the NSM agent configured on it.

  • NSM is not able to recognize the device and generates the above error messages.
Solution:
From the /var/netscreen/DevSvr/errorLog/deviceDaemon.0 error log, the IP of the device, which is trying to communicate to NSM, can be found. These messages would appear as below:
[Warning] [1123680-nthConnPlug.c:366] NTHCONN: SSP device 172.27.201.191 denied connection due to unknown unique device ID

Once the IP is found, the NSM agent  configured on the device can be disabled or removed.
