This article provides information on how to enable SNMP-based host monitoring on NSMXpress or NSM 3000.
Symptoms:
How to enable SNMP-based host monitoring on NSMXpress or NSM 3000.
Solution:
  1. Logon to the NSM WebUI (NSM Xpress or NSM 3000), by using  https://<ip>/administration.

  2. In the WebUI, go to System Administration > SNMP Monitoring.

  3. Select either SNMP version 2 or 3 to configure the SNMP settings:

  • SNMP V2: Select Community

  • SNMP V3: Username and Password
