Summary:
This article describes the issue of multiple error messages, such as Missing checklist attribute NAS-IP-Address for user \<ADNAME>, being generated in the log files.
Symptoms:
The following image illustrates the error messages that are generated in the log files:

Cause:
 
Solution:
The above error messages are generated due to a particular attribute being missing in the Radius request. So, to set it as a default value in the request and ignore it, perform the following procedure:

  1. Create a profile with the required check-list attribute:


  2. Select the Default check box for the attribute that is shown in the error message (NAS-IP-Address in above example):


  3. Apply the profile to the required Radius clients (from which the requests are originating):
