This article provides information on how to configure the authentication mode for a WLC II device.
  • RingMaster can authenticate to a controller, when sending configuration changes via enable password or username/password.

  • How to revert RingMaster to use enable password, if it is configured to use username/password.
  1. Select your controller in RingMaster and click Authentication Mode.

  2. When AAA is selected, type the currently used username/password and select Enable from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Finish and Deploy.

  4. In certain cases, deploy will not be pushed down; if so, undo changes under Devices/Local Changes and go through the process again.
