How to upload a Root Certificate on the SBR Admin GUI

Summary:
This article provides information on how to upload a Root CA on the SBR Admin GUI.
Symptoms:
For authentication protocols, such as EAP-TLS, the CA Root certificate has to be uploaded or when an existing Root CA expires, it has to be replaced.
Cause:
 
Solution:
 Perform the following procedure to upload the Root CA:

  1. In the SBR Admin GUI, expand Authentication Policies, and select Trusted Root Certificates:


  2. If the certificate needs to be replaced with a new one, delete the existing certificate.

  3. If a new certificate needs to be uploaded, skip step 2 and click Add to add a Root certificate on SBR. Select the Root certificate in the .der (case sensitive) format and upload it:


Note: The '.der' format is case sensitive; if the extension is in upper-case, change it. For more information, refer to KB23058 - [SBR] How to upload the correct .der format certificate.
