Article ID: KB25547 KB Last Updated: 21 Aug 2012Version: 1.0
Summary:
This article provides information about the possibility of configuring percentage policers on LSQ interfaces.
Symptoms:
Unable to configure percentage based policers on LSQ interfaces.
Cause:
This is by design.
Solution:
It is not possible to configure percentage policers on LSQ interfaces; this is by design. When an attempt is made to commit the percentage policer, the following commit error is observed:
root@gw-los-angeles# commit
Percentage policer not supported for interface lsq-0/0/0:0.0-o
error: configuration check-out failed
The workaround for this is to use the bandwidth-limit knob and specify the required limit as follows:

root@gw-los-angeles# show | compare | no-more
