This article provides information about the behavior of the set flow reverse-route tunnel CLI command.
Symptoms:
Information about the behavior of the set flow reverse-route tunnel CLI command.
Solution:
  • If set flow reverse-route tunnel always is configured, reverse route lookup will be performed during the session creation.
     
    • If a route is found, use this route.

    • If a route is not found, the traffic that arrives in the reverse direction will be dropped.

  • If set flow reverse-route tunnel prefer is configured, reverse route lookup will be performed during the session creation.
     
    • If a route is found, use this route.

    • If a route is not found, the traffic, which arrives in the reverse direction, will be sent back via the same tunnel that is used by the first packet.

  • If unset flow reverse-route tunnel is configured, reverse route lookup will not be performed during the session creation. The traffic, which arrives in the reverse direction, will be sent back via the same tunnel that is used by the first packet.
