How to upload SBR's Self-signed certificate for testing purposes

This article provides information on how to upload SBR's self-signed certificates for testing purposes.

SBR self-signed certificates can be used to test EAP-TLS/TTLS/PEAP certificate issues.
To upload a SBR self-signed certificate, perform the following procedure:

  1. Create a CSR (Certificate Signing Request) via the SBR Admin GUI; go to Authentication Policies > Certificates and click the Create button:

  2. In the Create Certificate Request window, type the required information (the private key password should not be more than 6 characters) and then click OK:

  3. Save the certificate in the txt format:

  4. The Create Certificate Request window will prompt you to save the Public-Private key pair; click OK:

  5. Save the keystore in the SBRPVK format:

  6. To add the self-signed certificate, go to Authentication Policies> Certificates and click the Add button:

  7. Select the previously created private key (SBRPVK file):

  8. In the Select Certificate window, type the Keystore password, which was previously created in step 2, and click OK:

  9. The Setting authentication certificate successful message will be displayed; click OK:

  10. the expiration date for this certificate will be for only 30 days from the creation date:

Note: This is not a permanent solution and should be used only for testing purposes.
