Summary:
This article provides general guidelines for implementing SNMP Monitoring on EX platforms.
Symptoms:
EX platforms have multiple software and hardware components that can be monitored. This article will provide general guidelines as to which components and SNMP OID’s may be monitored using SNMP management software for normal operational health of the EX devices.

Solution:
Refer to the EX SNMP Monitoring Guide for recommendations on the following.

• CPU Usage
• CPU Load Average
• Memory Usage
• Tail Drops
• Temperature
• Power Supply
• Fan
