[SvcreenOS] Unable to create the VSYS profile

Article ID: KB26401 KB Last Updated: 08 Jan 2013Version: 1.0
This article describes the issue of being unable to create the VSYS profile.

  1. When trying to create the VSYS profile via the command line, the following error message is generated:
    ISG-2000-> set vsys-profile RootProfile user-zones max 84 reserve 0
    ^---------------unknown keyword vsys-profile
  2. The same error message is generated, when the following command is run:
    ISG-2000-> get vsys-profile
    ^--------------unknown keyword vsys-profile
  3. The get license command indicates that the VSYS license is present on the device. It should be possible to create a new VSYS or modify an existing VSYS.

This error message is generated, when the VSYS License is installed on the firewall and after installation, the firewall is not rebooted. For the VSYS license to take effect, the firewall has to be rebooted, after the license is installed.
