Summary:

This article provides information on how to check BGP parameters, such as AS Path, Origin, Local preference, and so on, of any BGP received route.

Solution:

Run the following command to identify various BGP attributes that are associated to a route being received via BGP:

FW-> get vr trust proto bgp rib-in 10.11.11.11/32
Prefix: 10.11.11.11/32
Nexthop: 10.10.11.1, Weight: 100, Local Pref: 100, MED: 0, Flags: 0x486 0x88, Orig: IGP
AS segment type: AS_SEQ, AS path:11
