This article provides information on how to configure DHCP option 66 on a SRX device.
Symptoms:
How to configure DHCP option 66 on a SRX device.
Cause:

Solution:
DHCP option 66 is the name of the TFTP server. It can also be the IP address of the TFTP server.
[edit]
root# set system services dhcp option 66 string "tftp://10.1.11.2"

[edit]
root# commit check
[edit system services dhcp option]
'66'
Set `boot-server' instead of `option 66'
error: configuration check-out failed
So, you have to configure boot-server as follows:
root# set system services dhcp boot-server tftp://10.1.11.2 > It can also be an IP address

root# commit check
configuration check succeeds
You can either specify the boot-server globally or specifically to a pool. If the boot server is configured in both places, then the value that is specified under the pool will be used.
