Summary:
This article describes the issue of the No more than one dip under same if can be grouped error message being generated, when configuring a DIP group.
Symptoms:
The following configuration is set on the device:
set interface ethernet2/3 dip 5 1.1.1.2 1.1.1.2
set interface ethernet2/3 dip 6 1.1.1.10 1.1.1.10
Then the following DIP group is created:
FW-> set dip group 8

FW-> set dip group 8 member 5
FW-> set dip group 8 member 6
But, only one DIP group can be configured under the same configuration:
Failed command - set dip group 8 member 6
Cause:

Solution:
This error message is as per the design of the DIP group. To implement the DIP group, the DIP has to be configured on two different interfaces. DIPs can added to a DIP group, only when they are configured on two different interfaces.
