[ScreenOS] VLAN tag greyed out for aggregate interface

Summary:

This article explains the situation where the VLAN tag is greyed out when creating a sub-interface for an aggregate interface

Symptoms:

User has created an aggregate interface, but when the user tries to create a sub-interface for aggregate1, the VLAN tag option is greyed out




CLI does not show tag option:


Cause:

No physical interface is a member of aggregate1.

Solution:

Firewall will prohibit creation of sub-interfaces for an aggregate interface unless a physical interface is its member. Once the aggregate interface has members, the VLAN tag can be provided.
