[ScreenOS] How to change the VLAN tag

Summary:
This article provides information on how to change the VLAN tag on ScreenOS devices.
Symptoms:

When trying to change the sub-interface tag, I get the error "vlan tag can't be changed.  Use the unset/set interface cmd."

Even though the sub-interface is not used in the configuration, I still cannot change the tag.

Error message - failed command
Cause:
This is a design feature on the high-end devices.
Solution:
To change the VLAN tag, the sub-interface must be removed and re-created with the desired tag.

NOTE: On SSG Series devices, the VLAN tag can be changed without deleting the sub-interface. While doing so, ensure that the sub-interface is not used anywhere in the configuration.
